Pama Intl have just been confirmed for Glastonbury Festival for the 4th year.

We will be performing on the East Dance Stage @ 13.00 on Friday 26 June

We did this stage a couple of years ago and it was superb.  If you’re heading to Glastonbury make sure to head to the Dance field on the Friday lunch time!

Other acts confirmed include; Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band as Saturday night headliner, and Blur and Neil Young as the other headliners and Franz Ferdinand.

As ever rumours are flying around as to who else is playing… the ones we’re most excited about include; BB King, Ray Davies, The Blockheads, King Blues, Crosby Stills & Nash, Dub Pistols and The Specials, but none of those have been confirmed.

Last night Gideon Coe played a track from the new Pama Intl-Highrise Campaign album ‘No More Guns, Love Is Easy’ ft. Lynval Golding (the Specials).

Levellers and Pama International offer FREE downloads

On The Fiddle recordings and Rocker’s Revolt have teamed up to release two exclusive tracks from Levellers and Pama International. The Levellers track is a cracking live recording of “Before The End” from their show at the Royal Albert Hall last September and the Pama International track is taken from the brand new anti-knife/gun project album Pama Intl-Highrise Campaign.  The album includes guest appearances from;  Studio One veteran Dennis Alcapone, Billy Bragg, Lynval Golding (The Specials), Michie One, Mungos Hi Fi, G.Corp, Wrongtom (best known for his work with Hard Fi & Roots Manuva) and more.  Proceeds from the album go to youth charities around the UK.

Never one’s to stand still, Pama Intl are back in their studio finishing the much anticipated follow up to ‘Love Filled Dub Band’… the “Stax meets King Tubby” soundclash ’PAMA OUTERNATIONAL, which features Lynval Golding & Horace Panter (The Specials).   Tracks will be released on March 30th from:

Following on from the Lynval Golding interview, Reynalds Clay has tracked down another 2 Tone folk-hero to grace the Rockers Revolt pages, the one and only, Mr.Neol Davies.

As founder, lead guitarist and chief songwriter of The Selecter, Neol carved out a piece of British musical history for himself.  From providing the flip side to The Specials debut ‘Gangsters’, the sublime Selecter instrumental, before The Selecter even existed as a band, to writing the classic hits ‘3 Minute Hero’ and ‘Missing Words’ he helped create the now legendary 2 Tone sound and way of life for millions.
